Calif.'s Omnitrans names new CEO

San Bernardino, Calif.-based Omnitrans tapped Milo Victoria to take over as CEO in late January, replacing retiring Durand Rall.

Victoria, who has more than 33 years of experience in the industry, currently serves as assistant GM, bus service, for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (Metro) in Washington, D.C., where he oversees day-to-day operations of Metro's fleet of 1,500 buses, serving more than 360 bus routes and more than 12,000 bus stops across 1,500 square miles.

Current Omnitrans CEO/GM Durand L. Rall officially retired in late December but will stay on as the appointed interim CEO through the end of January, 2010.
