WASHINGTON, D.C. — On Thursday, the House passed legislation that would compensate 1,922 U.S. Department of Transportation workers, who were furloughed in early March when Sen. Jim Bunning (R-Ky) temporarily blocked funding for federal highway and transportation projects, according to a Washington Post report. Sen.
