Trapeze Group announced that the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) in Orlando, Fla., is extending its current Trapeze transit enterprise system to include a comprehensive operations management program as well as an online self-service booking and inquiry system for its paratransit customers.

The operations management system for LYNX includes functionality that enables employee sign ups, dispatching of daily activities, timekeeping, yard management and workforce management. With the system in place, operators can sign in at a kiosk or remote terminal and also securely view personal information online over the Web, including bidding requests, daily work assignments, timekeeping and employee information.

A truly integrated system, the Trapeze operations management solution integrates with Trapeze's fixed-route and demand response scheduling sources at LYNX as well as third-party payroll, human resources management and other applications and data sources as needed.

With the solution, paratransit customers can use the Internet to request, confirm and cancel bookings without having to speak with a call center operator.
