TOD project near SEPTA station planned

PHILADELPHIA — On Monday, plans were announced to begin construction on a transit-oriented development project near Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority's (SEPTA) Temple University rail station. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the project — which will include apartments and ground-floor stores — has been in the planning stages for 10 years and will take 18 months, officials say, creating 400 jobs.
