Trapeze to equip Sun Metro paratransit service
Will provide a Web-enabled, browser-based demand response scheduling and dispatch system that includes an advanced scheduling and run-cutting solution to help automate time consuming tasks and create efficiencies in the major stages of the scheduling process.
Sun Metro in El Paso, Texas has selected a comprehensive transport system from Trapeze and Trapeze ITS to help enhance the operational efficiency of their fixed route and paratransit transportation services.
Sun Metro has already implemented a demand-response scheduling and dispatch system to manage the agency's paratransit operations.
The Trapeze system for Sun Metro includes a Web-enabled, browser-based demand response scheduling and dispatch system designed to support the agency's paratransit services. In addition, an advanced scheduling and run-cutting solution for Sun Metro's fixed route services can help to automate time consuming tasks and creates efficiencies in the major stages of the scheduling process.
The comprehensive system is further enhanced with an integrated Trapeze ITS customer relationship management solution for providing real time information on signage found in terminals and at the wayside.
Sun Metro is one of the largest city departments with more than 600 employees and an annual budget of over $60 million. The agency offers fixed route and paratransit bus service within El Paso County and throughout the city of Sunland Park, New Mexico.
