CTTransit chooses AssetWorks' FleetFocus

AssetWorks announced that Hartford, Conn.-based CTTransit signed a contract for AssetWorks fully integrated fleet management software FleetFocus.

Looking to modernize its fleet operations and facility management infrastructure, CTTransit went through a competitive procurement process to select a fleet technology partner.

It chose AssetWorks' FleetFocus solution after evaluating several software options because the system can help CTTransit achieve its goals to increase the efficiency of technicians, reduce costs and streamline maintenance processes throughout the organization by utilizing technology.

Additionally, FleetFocus will integrate with CTTransit's timekeeping system, Kronos, and financial management system, Macola. By passing clock-in/clock-out information and vehicle costs directly to these systems, CTTransit can expect to save time by reducing the need for duplicate data entry, as well as improve the accuracy of the information by reducing the opportunity for human error.
