First Transit wins U. of Buffalo contract extension

The University of Buffalo elected to exercise its option for a one-year contract extension with First Transit Inc.

First Transit has provided service to the students of the University of Buffalo since 2007. Currently, it operates 25 vehicles and oversees 70 employees. The university's shuttle service transports more than 3.3 million passengers annually.

First Transit provides complete operations and transit management services as well as comprehensive preventative maintenance and inspection programs to meet customer transportation and budgetary needs.
