Alamo joins Team Trailways

San Antonio's Alamo Trailways recently joined the Team Trailways network, becoming the eighth member to serve Texas.

"We are delighted to add yet another premier transportation company to our Trailways Texas Team," said Trailways President/CEO, Gale Ellsworth. "Alamo Trailways is a company with diversified transportation capabilities that will enhance our system in this important southwest region. We look forward to benefitting from Alamo's business expertise and experience in the motorcoach industry."

Alamo Trailways is the charter services unit that provides transport for military, convention and tour clients. Other divisions offer trolley and sightseeing tours in downtown San Antonio and its 18th century missions trail along the San Antonio River, the famed Texas Hill Country and nearby wineries.

The company has more than 60 full- and part-time employees and a fleet of 23 vehicles, including full-sized motorcoaches and vans.
