FMCSA chief to speak at UMA Motorcoach Expo
Administrator Ferro will present an overview of current FMCSA activities in regard to the motorcoach industry. The session will take place Jan. 20.
The United Motorcoach Association (UMA) announced that Anne Ferro, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) administrator, is scheduled to speak at the 2011 UMA Motorcoach Expo during the annual Legislative & Regulatory Update session.
Administrator Ferro will present an overview of current FMCSA activities in regard to the motorcoach industry. The session will take place Thursday, Jan. 20, from 10 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. at the Tampa Convention Center, Ballroom D.
"We are honored to have Administrator Ferro address our members in Tampa," said Victor Parra, UMA president/CEO. "This is her second year joining us and her appearance signifies the importance of Motorcoach Expo and her commitment to our industry."
The 2011 event will feature new and timely education sessions on topics critical to operators today, the latest and most innovative industry products on the trade show floor — with an expanded pre-owned coach section — and networking opportunities to allow operators to renew old friendships and make new ones.
