BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority named Kimberley A. Minkel as its new executive director, according to the Buffalo News. Succeeding Lawrence K. Meckler, who retires Friday after holding the post for 12 years, Minkel is the first woman to head the region's public transit system.
