MILWAUKEE — With the federal government announcing that it has cancelled the Milwaukee to Madison high-speed rail project, Spanish train manufacturer Talgo Inc. said it will close its Milwaukee manufacturing operations in 2012, according to the Milwaukee and Southeastern Wisconsin Business News. Talgo will first complete work on four trainsets for Wisconsin and Oregon, then open a maintenance facility to service those vehicles at a location yet to be determined.
