UMA, NTA announce co-located shows

Officials at the United Motorcoach Association (UMA) and the National Tourism Association (NTA) have mapped out an exciting and productive lineup of host cities for the organizations' soon-to-be combined conventions.

The 2014 Convention will be held Feb. 16 to 20 in Los Angeles. The following year, New Orleans will host the event Jan. 17 to 21, 2015. Like Orlando in 2013, these cities promise to be big draws for travel professionals, according to Victor Parra, UMA president/CEO.

"Both cities — L.A. and New Orleans — are incredible destinations: fun, accessible and popular," Parra said. "And both locations are important group travel and tourism destinations."

By collaborating with their annual events, UMA and NTA will bring together 2,000 buyers with thousands of supplier and destination partners.
