Calif., N.Y. ask for Florida’s high-speed rail funds

WALNUT CREEK, Calif., ALBANY, N.Y. — After Gov. Rick Scott decided on Wednesday to end construction of Florida's high-speed train between Tampa and Orlando, California Gov. Jerry Brown said he would welcome the money and reiterated his support for the project, according to the Contra Costa Times.
