Hampton Roads receives U.S. DOT subpoena

NORFOLK, Va. — Hampton Roads Transit officials acknowledged that President/CEO Philip Shucet received three documents from two federal agencies. One, from the U.S. Department of Transportation, was a subpoena for Norfolk Light Rail records, the Daily Press reports.

With a current price tag of $338 million, "The Tide" light rail has faced troubles, with more than $100 million in cost overruns and other management problems. For the full story, click here.
