MV Sales and Leasing Inc. (MVSL), the exclusive U.S. distributor of the MV-1 Paratransit Mobility Vehicle for public transit entities, was awarded a national contract from the HGACBuy Program (Helping Governments Across the Country Buy).

The contract was approved on Dec. 15, 2010 and is available to all transit agencies that are members of HGACBuy.

"It's great to be a part of this exciting program and we're looking forward to working with the HGACBuy members to bring them the MV-1." said Gary Willms, president of MVSL. "Thanks to the HGACBuy Cooperative Purchasing Program, we can offer a simple purchasing option for transit agency's paratransit fleets."

A specific goal of the HGACBuy program is to enable government and non-profit agencies a purchasing solution that satisfies competitive bid requirements without the complications and preparation of an RFP.

Built in America and produced by Vehicle Production Group (VPG), the MV-1 Paratransit Mobility Vehicle is designed for wheelchair accessibility that meets the needs of the paratransit community and exceeds Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) vehicle guidelines.
