SAN JOSE, Calif. — Struggling California commuter rail service Caltrain will likely keep stations open and continue service for another year, reported The San Mateo County Times. The latest plan to save the system would likely propose transferring funds typically used for transit maintenance and possibly money earmarked for rail construction projects.
