BOULDER, Colo.  — Denver Regional Transportation District rate hikes will increase the price of University of Colorado students’ unlimited bus passes to $156 next year, dailycamera reported.

The RTD board of directors decided to increase fares as of Jan. 1 after facing an $18 million deficit. About 40 percent of students use public transportation as their main way of commuting to campus. For the full story, click here.
