MIAMI — As Miami-Dade County continues working to rectify a list of concerns about financial management at its troubled public transit agency, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) agreed to free up another $72.6 million to Miami-Dade Transit, The Miami Herald reported.

The agreement to release the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds — including $59.9 million for regional projects and $12.7 million designated for cities — is a sign of progress in county negotiations to resolve concerns raised in an ongoing FTA audit. For the full story, click here.
