S.F. Muni’s former chief eying top BART spot

SAN FRANCISCO — Nathaniel Ford, the recently departed head of San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (Muni), is being considered as a candidate to be the Bay Area Rapid Transit District's new GM, according to SFGate.

Meanwhile, Muni is skipping the typical national search for its next GM in favor of scouting local talent. The move also is expected to save the agency money. For the full story, click here.
