ALBANY, N.Y. — On Monday, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo announced the state would suspend the operating licenses of eight charter and tour bus companies that repeatedly failed safety inspections, according to the New York Times.

Each company failed three or more roadside inspections of buses or drivers in the last six months, according to Gov. Cuomo's administration. The suspension order will sideline about 100 buses within five days. For the full story, click here.
