Northern Ariz. U. debuts Flagstaff bus line

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — As of Aug. 29, the first day of fall classes at Northern Arizona University (NAU), six new hybrid-electric city buses will start using the new “Mountain Link” bus route, a dedicated bus, bike and pedestrian lane on campus to transport students and other riders to downtown Flagstaff, azdailysun.com reported.

The campus road construction and new buses were primarily funded by a $6.2 million federal grant, but also to a lesser degree by NAU and a local sales tax dedicated to public transit. For the full story, click here.
