Westcode tapped for Metrolinx HVAC systems

Westcode Inc. was selected by both Nippon-Sharyo and Toronto's Metrolinx to build the Air Comfort Systems for its newest and first DMU commuter line the Airport Express.

The up to 36 HVAC systems — 24 in base order — will feature state-of-the-art microprocessor controls and be designed and manufactured at Westcode's West Chester, Pa., facility.

Westcode is a designer and supplier of HVAC and door operating systems and also designs and manufactures leveling and compensating valves together with other rolling stock products.
