RouteMatch upgrades Denver paratransit system

RouteMatch Software has upgraded Denver Regional Transportation District's (RTD) paratransit operations and mobile data systems to RouteMatch's latest TS 5.3.4 technology platform. The upgrade has positioned RTD to achieve hoped-for improvements in productivity and customer service while also establishing a reliable foundation for monitoring vehicle efficiencies.

"Denver RTD has worked with RouteMatch for more than three years to implement various new technologies, and we've been impressed with the steadfast support from the team," said Bruce Abel, assistant GM at RTD. "By using RouteMatch's newest technologies, we've gained visibility into our data. This significantly improves decision making and operations management."

The RouteMatch TS 5.3.4 upgrade provides numerous features focusing on advanced scheduling and routing algorithms, predictive arrival times and custom reporting specifically developed with input from RTD's paratransit operations.

With the new upgrade, RTD can more easily change operator schedules and move trips in real-time to enhance customer service, according to RouteMatch.
