COLUMBIA, Mo. — Columbia City Hall has turned to the Missouri (University) Students Association for help in dealing with the $1 million deficit its transit system is facing, The Maneater reported.

Mayor Bob McDavid plans to appoint a student task force with the goal of designing new cost-efficient, student-friendly routes for the transit system. The task force will be composed of Missouri University, Stephens College and Columbia College students, who will work alongside administrative and city officials, an official told The Maneater.
