Orion, Allison Transmission to host EXPO Welcome Reception

Daimler Buses North America's Orion and Allison Transmission are proud to sponsor the official Welcome Reception during the EXPO on Oct. 2. Over 2,000 attendees are expected to attend the reception that is being held at the famous Mardi Gras World.

APTA Annual Attendees will experience a fun filled atmosphere at Mardi Gras World, a place where parade floats, props, and sculptures are made for Mardi Gras and other worldwide events.

APTA, Orion, and Allison officials will start the reception with a special Mardi Gras parade, including a King and Queen and floats. A local high school marching band will also be on hand to build the spirit of Mardi Gras.

Attendees will be rewarded with special beads and other party favors.

Orion will unveil the new Orion VII diesel-electric hybrid bus powered by the Allison HP 40 system during this event. A static bus will be displayed.
