HONOLULU — Although the latest campus transportation survey at
University of Hawaii at Manoa reported driving as the primary way students get to campus, there has been a notable shift in commute patterns in recent years toward alternative transportation, including public transit,
Ka Leo The Voice reported.
With the recent promotion of sustainable modes of access to campus, the number of students who took public transit increased to 17 percent, according to the survey. For the full story, click
