U. of Ky. unveils bus tracker

LEXINGTON, Ky. — With Cat Tracker, a GPS system designed for the University of Kentucky’s CATS bus system, anyone with a smartphone, iPhone or Android can download an app, known as “transloc,” to find out when the next bus will arrive, a transit official told the kentuckykernel. Those with access to the web also can use the real-time arrival system. The tracking program began this summer and was accessed by up to 8,000 users in August. For the full story, click here.
