HARTFORD, Conn. — Volunteers are trying to revive the Independent Transportation Network of Central, a struggling nonprofit that provides 24-hour transportation service for senior citizens and visually impaired residents, courant.com reported.

The network did not “aggressively pursue grants or other contributions,” and the executive director left the organization, a board of directors member told courant.com.
