Van Hool announces new manufacturing site

Long-time ABC partner Van Hool announced the site selection for an additional manufacturing plant to support their commitment to meeting increased production demand for their North American customers. After an in-depth feasibility study, the company's management selected a location in Macedonia, near Skopje as a prime location for the new facility.

The new plant will enable the European coach manufacturer to continue to meet its high quality manufacturing standards to deliver products that offer North American operators consistent long-term pricing and greater scalability, as well as reduced cycle time from order to delivery.

"We are excited about this decision to expand production capacity, which was solely driven by our shared vision to invest in the North American market," said Dane Cornell, president and CEO, ABC Companies. "The commitment to increasing their manufacturing capabilities directly correlates with growing U.S. demand for European technology that enables American operators to continuously evolve and innovate fleet operations."
