Detroit transit to cut early morning bus service

DETROIT — As part of a plan to cut approximately $11 million in costs, the city of Detroit is ending its early morning bus service, CBS Detroit reported.

According to the city, only 15 customers per hour utilize Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) bus service between 1 a.m and 4 a.m., representing .5% of DDOT’s daily riders and 6% of DDOT’s daily costs. For the full story, click here.
