The
Vehicle Production Group LLC (VPG), manufacturer of the MV-1 wheelchair accessible vehicle, will begin formal partnerships with traditional bus and mobility dealers to service broader markets in the U.S.
The company also announced it entered into an Amended and Restated Consulting and Brokerage Agreement with MV Sales & Leasing Inc. (MVSL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of MV Transportation Inc., pursuant to which MVSL will act as a non-exclusive consultant and broker of the MV-1. MVSL had previously been the exclusive sales agent for the MV-1 in the U.S. paratransit municipal market.
"We are pleased to continue our relationship with MVSL and MV Transportation, while we open up the paratransit municipal market for our vehicles to all of our dealers and distribution channels," said VPG CEO John Walsh. "We look forward to working with all of our dealers and distribution channels to expand the reach of the MV-1 into the market."
