DETROIT — Five transportation advocates launched a three-day tour of Michigan by public transit to draw attention to what's working and what isn’t in the state's system, The Detroit News reported.
Beginning their journey at Detroit Metropolitan Airport, it took the activists more than two hours to arrive downtown by SMART and Detroit Department of Transportation buses, with a seven-minute transfer, at a cost of $2.25. For the full story, click here.
