WASHINGTON, D.C. — Metro's top 16 executives took home $3.1 million in salaries in 2011, with GM Richard Sarles making more money than his counterpart in New York, who has an annual salary of $332,500, according to records and officials at the transit agencies, the Washington Post reported.
