DCTA adds 18 buses to U. of North Texas routes

DENTON, Texas — Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) will add 18 new Champion buses over the next few months to University of North Texas bus routes, NTDaily.com reported.  

The buses, which cost $3.6 million altogether, have a life expectancy of 10 years and are able to carry three bikes, in comparison to current buses which can fit only two. A DCTA official told NTDaily.com that an increasing number of students are using a combination of bikes and the buses on campus. For the full story, click here.
