Program helps pay for Tulsa senior transit services

TULSA, Okla. —  A local nonprofit is helping seniors pay for some of the costs for Tulsa Transit's paratransit services. The Transportation Assistance Program for Seniors, or TAPS, has provided $3 coupons to hundreds of participants to defray some of the $6 round trip LIFT service fee, which can add up pretty quickly for those on fixed incomes, according to a Tulsa World report.
