LOS ANGELES — Labor unions expressed concern over an approximately $900-million contract that the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) awarded to Massachusetts-based Kinkisharyo, a subsidiary of the Kinki Sharyo Co. of Japan, to build 235 railcars, the sgvtribune.com reported.
