CLAREMONT, Calif. — The California Association for Coordinated Transportation presented Claremont, Calif.-based Community Connections Volunteer Driver Program with its Outstanding Coordination Effort Award, Inland Valley Daily Bulletin reported.

The program was acknowledged for the cooperative efforts of four agencies across the Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties' lines. The program’s volunteer drivers offer door-through-door transportation to seniors and individuals with disabilities who can't use more traditional transportation. For the full story, click here.
