QUINCY, Ill. — Quincy Transit Lines saw a 5% boost in passengers in the past year with much of the overall increase attributed to the shuttle service the city operates between Quincy University's main and North Campuses, according to the Quincy Herald-Whig.

The service provided 56,975 rides in the 2011-12 fiscal year, an increase of 12% from when the transit system took over the service in 2010. For the full story, click here.
