Sacramento receives $15M for depot renovation

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The U.S. Department of Transportation awarded Sacramento $15 million to renovate the I Street train depot, an 86-year-old brick building, into a modern, multipurpose front door to the downtown railyard, according to the Sacramento Bee.

The federal funds will be coupled with $15 million in state and local money for a $30 million project. For the full story, click here.
