Travel training conference to be held in Colorado

The Association of Travel Instruction (ATI) announces that its 12th Annual Conference will be held from Friday, August 10, to Sunday, August 12, at the Millennium Harvest House in Boulder, Colo.

This conference is recommended for travel trainers, mobility managers and other persons interested in greater use of public transit by all disabled individuals and seniors.

Presentations include, but are not limited to, strategies to integrate travel training into fixed-route transportation systems to reduce ADA paratransit costs; using modern technology to strengthen travel training skills; disaster preparedness for travel trainers; trip planning tips and tools; and, addressing parental concerns in travel training programs.
