TACOMA, Wash. — A tentative labor agreement between Pierce Transit and its bus drivers’ union would freeze the pay of most employees and require workers to pay more of their health care costs, The News Tribune reported.
The three-year agreement does not include cost-of-living pay increases, but does preserve “step” increases for union members during their first 10 years with the agency, a Pierce Transit spokesperson told The News Tribune. For the full story, click here.
