Veolia renews Indiana's TRANSPO contract

Veolia Transportation announced the renewal of its South Bend, Ind., transit contract. In a vote the TRANSPO board of directors awarded Veolia a three-year contract that includes one two-year option.

“Veolia takes great pride in the work we do and the service we provide for our clients. TRANSPO is a valued client and we look forward to continuing to provide the same quality service they’ve received since we first started working with them in 1999,” said Veolia Regional Vice President Steve Shaw.

Veolia manages the property, providing the GM and Assistant GM to oversee the day to day operations. The remaining employees are local TRANSPO employees. Over the next three years Veolia will be implementing additional programs that will focus on both safety and customer service.
