Arboc rolls out 1,000th bus, organizational changes
For founders Jim Bartel and Don Roberts, the 1,000th bus was momentous, proving ARBOC has a proven product, according to the company.
In September, ARBOC Specialty Vehicles’ 1,000th bus rolled out of its plant in Middlebury, Ind. The milestone bus is a Spirit of Mobility, headed to Victoria, B.C., as part of a contract awarded to Dynamic Specialty Vehicles.
As the 1,000th bus rolled off the line, the entire plant was cheering as the bus drove by. For Jim Bartel and Don Roberts, founders of ARBOC Specialty Vehicles, this was momentous, proving ARBOC has a proven product, according to the company.
Additionally, In ARBOC’s continuing effort to improve service for their dealers and customers, they are announcing organizational changes within the Parts & Service Department.
Mel Williams has been named director, parts & warranty, while Jeff Meyer will move into the newly created director, field services, position.
Williams will be responsible for directly overseeing the enhanced Parts & Service within ARBOC, while Meyer’s past experience and industry knowledge are perfect for his new roles in providing dealer and vendor coordination as well as training and education in reference to field related items.
