B.C. Transit, union talks stall over commuter buses

VICTORIA, B.C. — CTV News reported that negotiations between B.C. Transit and its unionized drivers and mechanics have hit an impasse over commuter buses. The union said the dealings behind the purchase of the 15 vehicles in 2009 are “suspicious.”

B.C. Transit counters that, as a Crown Corp., there is legislation that governs it and that it followed the rules to the letter. For the full story, click here.
