The Maxxforce 9 Engine-powered demo bus that Complete Coach Works has remanufactured into a nearly new condition continues to make industry heads turn with each stop it makes. Since this bus debuted at the Annual APTA Bus & Paratransit Conference in May, it has undergone rigorous testing in desert heat up and down the infamous Cajon Pass in California, one of the nation's longest 6% grade roadways, and through thousands of miles of uninterrupted road testing.

Last week, nearly 1,000 attendees at BusCon in Chicago saw the MaxxForce Demo bus for the first time after the intensive testing process. The bus received a great response from everyone who stepped inside, walked around, and meticulously inspected the engine compartment, according to company officials.

More attention came immediately following an informative presentation by Macy Neshati, VP of Complete Coach Works. This presentation helped explain how transit authorities who place their older buses through a remanufacturing process can reduce both environmentally harmful emissions and landfill pollution, while being a smart solution to save money.

"Using Complete Coach Works to remanufacture an old fleet would be similar to receiving brand new buses at nearly 50% of the cost," said  Neshati. "We want every transit authority in the nation to have access to these savings, and that is why we created this MaxxForce RPM Tour - Repower Performance with MaxxForce."

In between scheduled association events, Wade Norton, VP of Powertrain at CCW, will be accompanying the bus to transit authorities who have requested a demonstration. So far, over two dozen authorities have expressed interest in the MaxxForce Repower and demonstrations have already occurred at several respected transit authorities in the Midwest.

Upcoming Events where you will see the Maxxforce Demo:
• Tennessee Public Transportation Association - Memphis, Tenn. - Oct. 16-19th, 2012
• RPM Tour Kickoff Event - Huntsville, Ala. - Oct. 24-25, 2012
• Florida Public Transportation Association - Daytona Beach, Fla. - Oct. 27-30th 2012

For more info about the Maxxforce RPM Tour, Complete Coach Works' capabilities, or would like to schedule a demonstration at your facility, contact Wade Norton; (951) 836-6535 - wnorton@completecoach.com
