Honolulu voters favor rail again

HONOLULU — Honolulu Star Advertiser reported that with an upcoming mayoral election that will decide the rail project’s fate, voters are now shifting their opinions slightly to favor rail.

About half of voters surveyed said work on the rail should continue. The latest shift in public support for rail appears to come primarily from Filipino-Americans and working-age voters. Three months ago, only 44% of Oahu voters polled said work on the rail project should continue. For the full story, click here.
