Students, officials debate Boston U. weekend shuttle service

BOSTON — While students requested weekend Boston University Shuttle (BUS) service, transportation officials said that demand during weekend days is too low to justify the financial and environmental costs, The Daily Free Press reported.

A BUS spokesperson told the Free Press that during the day on weekends, students could walk or use other methods of public transit since the campus is very walkable. However, students say the service is still needed at that time for weekend events and inclement weather.  For the full story, click here.
