Denver RTD educating public on rail crossing safety

DENVER — Denver Regional Transportation District (RTD) planners visited six elementary schools within four blocks of one of its commuter and light rail lines to teach students how to safely cross rail intersections, The Denver Post reported.

Agency officials are also telling the public about the potential danger of newly energized overhead electrical lines that power the rail system. For the full story, click here.
