Detroit breaks ground on $6.2M transit facility

DETROIT — The groundbreaking of a $6.2 million multimodal transit facility in Troy took place Tuesday. The center utilizes the existing rail line and is part of a comprehensive plan to connect Metro Detroit and Chicago, reports The Detroit Hub.

The center will also connect with SMART (suburban bus) lines as well as taxis and automobiles. To read the full story, click here.
