North Texas transit leaders sign cooperative agreement

Leaders of three North Texas transit agencies signed an agreement commemorating an alliance in support of upcoming transportation and transit initiatives under consideration this Texas legislative session.

Last week’s ceremony at the historic Carrollton Rail Depot across from DART's Downtown Carrollton Rail Station was hosted by the North Central Texas Regional Passenger Rail Alliance, made up of Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) and the Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T).

DART Chairman John Danish, DCTA Chairman Charles Emery and The T Chairman Gary W. Cumbie were joined by DART President/Executive Director Gary Thomas, DCTA President/Executive Director Jim Cline and The T’s President/Executive Director Dick Ruddell in signing the agreement.
